Joey Giaimo
Associate
Joey Giaimo, M.Arch, OAA, MRAIC, is a licenced architect and Associate at ERA.
Upon graduating from SALA at the University of British Columbia, he was named to the RAIC Honour Roll and awarded the RAIC Student Medal. His thesis, Territorializing the Residual, was awarded a Canadian Architect Student Award of Excellence.
In addition to practice, Joey sits on Harbourfront Centre’s Architecture Advisory Committee and is a frequent visiting design studio critic and thesis advisor. He is co-editor of the book Vancouver Matters, a 2008 publication that received an Alcuin Society and a Design Exchange Award.
In the office, he is currently working on projects at Exhibition Place, Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church, Osgoode Hall, Casey House and the Allandale Train Station.
