Imperial Plaza

Imperial Plaza

Summary

The headquarters for the Imperial Oil Company of Canada is a modernist structure built in 1957, designed by Mathers and Haldenby Architects. The building is a landmark visible from many locations in the city and its observation level was the highest point in the city at the time of construction.

E.R.A was retained as the Heritage Consultant in the conversion of the building from office to residential use. The exterior of the building, as well as the lobby will be retained, and the remainder of the building converted to residential units.
